FTC: I was sent this bottle of Tea Tree Oil by Apothecary Extracts for free in exchange for a review. My thoughts and opinions are 100% my own.
I was really excited to get the opportunity to try Apothecary Extracts 100% Pure Australian Tea Tree Oil. I have been slowly buying products/ingredients to add to my natural beauty regimen. I have Coconut Oil, Agave Nectar and recently purchased Green Clay. Tea Tree Oil was on my list but I hadn’t had the opportunity to narrow down my brand search. It was perfect timing!
Apothecary Extracts was founded in 2013, because they wanted to know for sure what was in their essential oils. The testing required to make sure essential oils are the best quality are very expensive so not every company uses them. Apothecary Extracts has run those tests and will show you the results, so you know you are getting a great product!
You can buy this product exclusively on Amazon for 24.99 and you get a HUGE 4 oz bottle of Tea Tree Oil. You will also receive a free e-book from Apothecary Extracts containing 50 uses for Tea Tree Oil.
There are several beauty uses for tea tree oil that I am excited to try but for my first use, I decided on a Green Clay Mask! In the free e-book there is a recipe that I loosely followed.
Cleansing Tea Tree Oil & Clay Mask
2 tbsp green or red clay powder
4 tbsp Apothecary Extract Tea Tree Oil (I cut it down to 2 tbsp since this was my first time)
Mix: Place Clay Powder and oil into small bowl then add enough water to form a thick paste.
Apply: Apply mask even to your face and leave on for 15-20 minutes. Rinse off w/warm water and pat face dry.
This is a weekly treatment; too many applications may dry out your skin.
The mask mixed together and applied easily. I will caution you that due to the purity of the tea tree oil, the smell is very strong. If you have been reading my blog you know I have a messed up sense of smell, so if it was strong to me, it may be even more so for you. I do feel like the mixture of green clay and tea tree oil helped to dig out a lot of gunk in my pores and my face felt soft and smooth the next day.
Would I recommend Apothecary Extracts Tea Tree Oil? Yes! The 4 oz bottle is huge and should last you a very long time. Throw in the bonus e-book and it really is a great deal.
The good news is, if you want to try it, you also have the chance to try it for free! Apothecary Extracts is going to send one of my lovely readers their very own giant 4 oz bottle of Tea Tree Oil and e-book.
If you are the winner, you must live in the United States and have an Amazon account. When the winner is selected, I will send the winner’s email address to Apothecary Extracts and they will send you a coupon code to use on Amazon for a free bottle and free shipping.
