It Cosmetics Haul

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

I recently purchased these items from It Cosmetics on QVC.  I purchased the Celebration Foundation and Heavenly Luxe Brush Combo ($43.50) and the No. 50 Serum Anti-Aging Primer ($48.00).

It Cosmetics Anti-Aging Celebration Foundation: I love the It Cosmetics CC Cream so much, but I wanted to try out the powder foundation to see how it compares. I will be sure to let you all know how I feel about this foundation when I am done testing!

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAThe Heavenly Luxe Buffing Airbrush Foundation Brush: This brush is super soft and retails for $48.00 all by itself on the It Cosmetics Website. The reason I like buying It Cosmetics from QVC is you can often find bundles of their products that include their amazing brushes for way less than buying them separately at Ulta or the It Cosmetics Website. If I like the product I can always go buy more of it at Ulta without having to pay more shipping!

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERANo. 50 Serum Anti-Aging Foundation Primer: I love that it comes with a dropper and a pump with a cap.  This stuff felt amazing rubbed into my hand. Can’t wait to start trying it out!

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAI am going to start trying these products out and as soon as I have used them enough to have an informed opinion, I will post an in depth review!

Have you tried any of these products? What did you think?

It Cosmetics CC Cream Review

So I finally found the time to get my review together on the It Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC Cream (that is a mouthful of a name!).  I purchased this on QVC as the TSV in the CC Your Way to Beautiful Skin Kit.

I purchased the shade Light, since I am fair, but not porcelain and they were very clear during the segment that Fair is for the most porcelain skin tones. They offer the shades Fair, Light, Medium, Tan and Rich.

When I first started testing this product out, I liked it but was not amazed by it.  I couldn’t seem to get the coverage that was advertised.  Per the QVC website: Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream with SPF 50+ replaces your full-coverage foundation, SPF, antiaging serum, hydrating moisturizer, color corrector, skin-brightener, and pore minimizing primer in one step.

I finally figured out the problem when I stopped using the paddle brush that came in the kit.  Don’t get me wrong, the brush is very soft and thick but I just couldn’t get it to work for me with this product.  I started using a combination of my fingers and the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge and THAT is when I fell in love with this product.

This is how I apply:

I wash my face and put on my eye cream.  Once the eye cream has time to sink in, I just apply the CC Cream and that is it!  I don’t have to moisturize or put on primer!  I love that!  (I have combination skin that tends to be oily in my t-zone so if you have dry skin you may still need to moisturize before applying this product)

I generally have 5-10 minutes to do my face in the mornings (thanks to a certain impatient 4 year old who likes to play in the sink while I am getting ready) so anything that can save me time and have me using less products is my BFF.

Since I am in Florida, I love that it has SPF 50.  Of course, sunscreen is still a requirement here in the Sunshine State, but every little bit helps!

I really would recommend this product to everyone.  Like me, you may need to play around with it to find the best way to apply, but it is so worth it!  You can still buy the kit or the individual CC Cream at QVC  or you can purchase at Ulta or It Cosmetics Website.

Have you guys tried this CC Cream?  Are there any other It Cosmetics items I should try?
