Nothing to Disclose
I scored some really excellent deals on Laura Geller after Christmas via Laura Geller’s Clearance Sale and DermStore (if you haven’t discovered DermStore, you need to check it out, free shipping on all of their orders no minimum!) and have been putting my new pretties to the test and I’m ready to let you guys in on the goodness.
I bought several holiday sets but since they are no longer available I have broken down my posts into categories (all the items from the sets I bought are permanent to the line, so you can still buy them individually) and first up are the lip products!
Just as a disclaimer, I was on the tale end of a nasty cold when these pics were taken, so you will get to see dry skin and puffy under eyes…just try and focus on the lips!
Color Drenched Lip Gloss in Perked Up Pink and Pink Lemonade These glosses are slightly tacky, but not super thick. They don’t have a lot of lasting power, and they leave a slight stain on the lips when they wear off. I received these in two different kits and while I like the formula, I wouldn’t pay the full price of $19 for a single lip gloss.
Perked Up Pink is described as a smooth, rosy pink.
Pink Lemonade is described as a warm tulip pink (this color is a little too pale for me, I much prefer Perked Up Pink)
Luscious Lips Liquid Lipstick in Cherry Almond ($21) I bought this with a coupon code through DermStore. I really like this semi-matte formula, I don’t find it drying at all. I was slightly bummed because some of the online swatches I looked at seemed to be slightly more pink. I would absolutely try another color, but I would head to Ulta first and swatch for myself!
Cherry Almond is described as a neutral brown color.
Iconic Baked Sculpting Lipstick in East Side Rouge ($21) I also got this lipstick through DermStore with a coupon code. I REALLY like this lipstick. It glides on super easy thanks to the shape of the bullet and it stays in place. The tube is magnetic and snaps into place. I will be purchasing other colors.
East Side Rouge is described as a rosy red shade.
Love Me Dew Moisturizing Lip Crayon in Happiful ($17) This is my absolute favorite of all the Laura Geller lip products. It has taken all of my will power to not order more, because I’m on a low buy, but I WANT THEM ALL. You need the Love Me Dew Lip Crayon in your life. As the name suggests it’s moisturizing and while it’s not super long lasting (it won’t last through a meal) I love it so much I don’t even care about needing to reapply occasionally.
Happiful is described as a hot pink shade.
Well, that wraps up my Laura Geller Brand Overview: Lips Edition. Be on the lookout for a Primer/Foundation post and a Blush post.
