I have very little shelf space for my makeup and beauty supplies, so every few months I try and rotate eyeshadow and blush colors and put the previous seasons colors in storage in my big sterilite container. Even though it is still warm in Florida, it is technically fall, so last night I did my big swap.
I am also including the price of the product plus what I actually paid. I try to use point programs, gift cards and coupon codes where I can. I thought the information might be helpful in case you were looking on ways to save money on makeup and beauty products!
Here are the products that I will be using over the next few months:
Wet n Wild Smoke and Melrose & Melrose at Night (3.99/each) see swatches here. I am a member of Walgreens points/reward program. I had enough points built up to get one of these palettes for free. So it was basically BOGO.
Pur Minerals Rebel Trio (26.00) I received this as a free gift with purchase at Ulta this summer and forgot I had it until last night! I will be posting swatches soon!
Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette (49.00). I purchased this months ago from HSN and used a coupon code to get the palette and a full size shadow insurance eye primer for a total of 29.00. However, I haven’t used it yet! I was using mostly cream shadows over the summer, so I am anxious to start playing with this palette!
Cabana Boy by the Balm (21.00) I purchased this off of HauteLook for 10.50. It is really the only “fall” blush shade I own. I have a lot of coral and sparkly pink. This is a very pretty blush and I have a few more blushes from different companies that I would like to add to my fall collection 🙂
It Cosmetics CC+ Lip Serum in Love (24.00) This was included as part of a QVC Today’s Special Value (CC Your Way to Beautiful Skin Kit).
Bite Beauty Matte Creme Lip Crayon in Brandy (24.00) see my review here. I used a Shopkick gift card to purchase this for 5.36.
Bite Beauty Luminous Creme Lipstick in Vigne (24.00) see my post here. I used a Shopkick gift card on this purchase as well. I can’t remember the exact total, but it was approximately 14.00 since I used a 10.00 gift card.
Do you rotate your makeup with the season? Do you have any rewards programs you are a part of that you would recommend?
